CEA TECHNOLOGIES JOINS CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY PARK

CEA Technologies Pty Limited today announced the establishment of their South Australian office at Technology Park Adelaide.

CEA Technologies specialises in the design, development and manufacture of advanced radar and defence communications solutions. CEA is designing and developing the phased array radar and illuminator solution for the ANZAC Anti Ship Missile Defence Upgrade. Through this, CEA Technologies provides multi-function active phased array radar surveillance and tracking capability and missile illumination to the ANZAC Class, making it one of the world’s most capable frigates.

CEA Technologies Chief Executive Officer Michael Aitchison said the new Adelaide office location will allow the company to operate in Technology Park together with other leading technology companies at the centre of South Australian Defence industries.

"This is a demonstration of the company’s growth and commitment to South Australia’s growing defence sector”, Mr Aitchison said.

Air Vice-Marshal Roxley McLennan AO, head of the State Government’s Defence Unit, says that South Australia is serious about working hard to win more defence contracts and doubling the industry’s $1 billion annual contribution to our economy.

Technology Park Adelaide is managed by the State Government’s Land Management Corporation (LMC).
LMC Chief Executive Wayne Gibbings said that through sites such as Technology Park Adelaide, the State Government is successfully creating a technology economy which is recognised for its business innovation and entrepreneurial success.
