RAPID GROWTH AT TECHNOLOGY PARK ADELAIDEThe expansion of Technology Park Adelaide takes another step forward with the construction of a purpose built facility for Opaltec Australia underway. Opaltec Australia, whose parent company is based in the United Kingdom, has rapidly risen to become the leading supplier of new, refurbished and surplus barcode and point-of-sale hardware in Australia. It is winning business from all over Australia and generating export dollars by selling products to Asia, India, New Zealand and Pakistan Stephen Marodi, Opaltec Australia Managing Director, says that Technology Park Adelaide is an ideal location for his company as it offers credibility of address, networking opportunities, infrastructure support and opportunity for growth. “Tenants at Technology Park Adelaide are not just involved in business relationships,” Mr Marodi says. “We are all involved in a tight knit community and experience mutual benefit from using each other’s services,” he says. Opaltec Australia started off as a one man show in 2004.
